St Anne's, Shandon marks Remembrance Sunday on the Sunday closest to the 11th of November each year, to remember those who died in the Great War (World War 1) and all conflicts since.

The memorial was placed in the church to remember those associated with the parish who died during the war.

The below are those names that are listed and further information found on these men by our Churchwarden Stephen Spillane. There is an additional smaller memorial beside the main one donated to the church by our parish school St. Luke’s N.S. O'Mahony's Avenue which contains the name of the men and boys affiliated with the school who died in World War One
